FORTAN Glykan with 20 % extracts of mussels from cultured New zealand mussles and glycosaminoglycan, gelatine, herbs and minerals.

Gristle consists of collagenous fibres and a gel which is very similar in substance to glycosaminoglycan. 
Valuable nutrients are required to ensure that gristle, tendons, ligaments, intervertebral discs and joint capsules maintain the overal freedom of movement of an animals locomotor apparaturs. The key element of connective tissue consists of glcosaminoglacans and has to be constantly replenished by the intake of food.

Performance and other factors are dependent on the connective tissue being kept in perfect condition. 
This, in turn, ensures that the ease of movement of joints and the amount of strain the connective and supporting tissues can bear are maintained along with the pleasure attached to being able to move freely. 
The glycosaminoglycan requirement and its consumption are higher for young, large - breed dogs, 
working dogs and in particular older dogs that are no longer able to move as freely as before.


Feeding instructins (daily):

up to 5 kg body weight = 1/2 measure,

up to 10 kg body weight = 1 measure,

up to 20 kg body weight = 2 measures,

up to 30 kg body weight = 3 measures,

> 30 kg = 4 measures.

1 measure Glykan = 4g.
