Despite their physical similarity, rabbits belong to the order Lagomorpha, and are therefore quite different from rodents such as guinea pigs and hamsters, thus requiring a different type of nutrition. Especially when it comes to ornamental rabbits, Megazoo, with a multidisciplinary team and specialized breeders, has taken great care to provide adequate nutrition for these more demanding breeds. Special attention has also been paid to the level of starch, which in high proportions or when unbalanced with fiber, can be harmful to rabbits. With this in mind, the use of whole grains from cereals, normally rich in this nutrient, has been controlled.

Provide ORNAMENTAL RABBITS ad libitum, as the sole source of food or with hay from various grasses. Avoid feeding grains. As an enrichment, the product can also be offered together with ORNAMENTAL RABBITS MENU. It is essential that there is an adaptation period when introducing the food for the first time. During this period, it is advisable to provide this product mixed with the usual food in the following proportion:

Day 1 – 5: ¼ MEGAZOO ¾ usual food

Day 6 – 12: ½ MEGAZOO ½ usual food

Day 13 – 17: ¾ MEGAZOO ¼ usual food

Day 17 onwards: 100% MEGAZOO.
