DOSAGE AND HOW TO USE:

1 tablet for 4kg body weight.

The average dose recommendation is 57.5mg/kg pyrantel embonate and 5mg/kg praziquantel. This is equivalent to 1 tablet for 4kg (9 lbs) of body weight. Tablets are given orally (in tablet form or crushed into powder). Diet (Fasting is not required before and after taking Bantrin medication.

For example :

2kg body weight: 1/2 tablet

4kg body weight: 1 tablet

FEEDING TO CATS:

For cats weighing 4 kg, it can be given directly to the cat without needing to crush the tablet and dissolve it in water.

For cats weighing less than 4kg, divide the tablets according to the required dosage (based on body weight), then crush the tablets and put them into empty capsules which can be purchased at the pharmacy. (Buy empty capsules in the smallest size).

Other tools can be used to give Bantrin Cat to cats. Namely by using an injection (without a needle) which can be purchased at a pharmacy. The method is to divide the Bantrin Cat tablet according to the dosage (based on the cat's body weight), grind it then dissolve it in 5 mL of water and insert it into an injection (without a needle).

TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS:

Kitten :

Give Bantrin Cat at the age of 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks and then 1 month to 6 months. After that every 3 months or according to veterinarian advice.

Nursing cat:

It is best to treat it at the same time with the kitten.

Adult :

Give Bantrin Cat every 3 months
